COPE

John Lennon - "Imagine"
Imagine
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one
John Lennon - "Surprise, surprise (Sweet bird of Paradox)"
Surprise, surprise
Sweet as the smell of success
Her body's warm and wet
She gets me through this god awful loneliness
A natural high butterfly Oh I,
I need, need, need her
Just like a willow tree
A breath of spring you see
And oh boy you don't know what she do to me
She makes me sweat and forget who I am
I need, need, need, need her
Well I was wondering how long this could go on, on and on
Well I thought I could never be surprised
But could it be that I bit my own tongue
Oh yeah, it's so hard to swallow when you're wrong
A bird of paradise
The sunrise in her eyes
God only knows such a sweet surprise
I was blind she blew my mind think that I
I love, love, love, love, love her
I love her, I love her, I love her, I love her
Sweet sweet, sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet, sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet, sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet, sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet, sweet sweet love
Harry Nilsson - "Without you"
Without you
No, I can't forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way the story goes
You always smile but in your eyes your sorrow shows
Yes, it shows
No, I can't forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrows
When I had you there but then I let you go
And now it's only fair that I should let you know
What you should know
I can't live, if living is without you
I can't live, I can't give any more
Can't live, if living is without you
I can't give, I can't give any more
Well, I can't forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way the story goes
You always smile but in your eyes your sorrow shows
Yes, it shows
Can't live, if living is without you
I can't live, I can't give anymore
I can't live, if living is without you
I can't live, I can't give anymore
(Living is without you)
Mick Jagger - "Too many cooks (Spoil the soup)"
Too many cooks
Don't want another man well lovin' you
'Cause too many cooks will spoil the soup
I know your love is a'boilin' hot
Don't want another man stick a finger in the pot
Don't you know your love making living to me
Don't want another man changing my recipe
Don't want another man loving you
'Cause too many cooks will spoil the soup
Don't change yeah, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change yeah, don't change
What you got, doing that sugar, doing that spice
You bet I'm greedy to make your loving right
Don't want nobody stick their fingers down in the pot
Don't ever want to see you get down to lettin' it up
Your love is seasoned just right for me
Don't want nobody changing my recipe
Don't want to try nobody new
'Cause too many cooks will spoil the soup
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change
Every time I see that you're into something new
Well who been teaching you a new thing to do?
Don't want nobody drinking from my cup
Don't want to see ya get down licking it up
Don't change, don't let nobody change
Well, honey your love is seasoned right for me
Don't want another man changing my recipe
Don't want another man loving you
'Cause too many cooks damn well spoil the soup
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
Don't change, don't let nobody change ya
All by myself
I looked out my window
And watched all the people go by.
I wonder what happens
And who's taking who for a ride.
(don't you know that i'm bound?)
I'm bound to pick up the pieces and watch them land. (watch them land)
I'm standing all by myself,
Ain't got nobody else,
All by myself,
I don't need nobody.
(ooh, ooh, ooh)
I work out my problems,
I'm starting all over again.
I just started smiling,
I'm making myself some new friends.
(don't you know i've got?)
I've got a brand new feeling i just can't hide. (just can't hide)
I'm standing all by myself,
Ain't got nobody else, (to turn to)
All by myself,
I don't need nobody.
(ooh, ooh, ooh)
(ooh -, ooh -, ooh -)
Way back in my mem'ry,
I can see where i've wasted my time.
You came and took what you wanted
And then tried to take what was mine.
(well, don't you know i'm tired)
I'm tired of finding myself up against the wall, it's so tall.
I'm standing all by myself,
Ain't got nobody else, (to turn to)
All by myself,
I ain't got nobody.
(ooh, ooh, ooh)
(i'm standing) all by myself,
Ain't got nobody else, (nobody)
All by myself,
I ain't got nobody.
(ooh, ooh, ooh)
(i'm standing) all by myself,
Ain't got nobody else, (to talk to)
All by myself,
I don't need nobody.
(ooh, ooh, ooh)
(i'm standing) all by myself.
