Déjame, no vuelvas a mi lado,
una vez, estuve equivocado,
pero ahora todo eso pasó,
no queda nada de ese amor.
No hay nada que ahora ya,
puedas hacer
porque a tu lado yo,
no volveré, no volveré.
Déjame, ya no tiene sentido,
es mejor que sigas tu camino,
que yo el mío seguiré,
por eso ahora déjame.
No hay nada que ahora ya,
puedas hacer
porque a tu lado yo,
no volveré, no volveré.
Déjame, ya no tiene sentido,
es mejor que sigas tu camino,
que yo el mío seguiré,
por eso ahora déjame,
Tuviste una oportunidad
why la dejaste escapar.
2.- "Pavo Real" - José Luis Rodríguez
Pavo Real
Numerao, numerao
Viva la numeración
Quien ha visto matrimonio
Sin correr amonestación
Numerao, numerao
Viva la numeración
Quien ha visto matrimonio
Sin correr amonestación
Pavo real uu
Pavo real uu
Pavo real uu
Pavo real uu
A todos los que me escuchan
Aquí les vengo a dejar
Aquí les vengo a dejar
Un gorrion venezolano
Que se llama el pavo real
Que se llama el pavo real
Y a las muchachas las digo
Que aquí me quiero casar
Que aquí me quiero casar
Y ahora mismo les ofrezco
Cuatro casas por capital
La pre natal, el manicomio
La cárcel o el hospital
La cárcel o el hospital
Si no cumplo lo ofrecido
Nos podemos divorciar
Nos podemos divorciar
Para eso existen las leyes
Que suelen todo arreglar
Que suelen todo arreglar
Y austed mi joven
Le ofrezco
Una ganga en casamiento
Una ganga en casamiento
Mi vecina la menor
Es mas pura que un convento
Es mas pura que un convento
Y poreso el advierto
No me la venga a cambiar
No me la venga a cambiar
Mi estrayon demostracion
Instrumento de total
Numerao, numerao
Viva la numeración
Quien ha visto matrimonio
Sin correr amonestación
Numarao, numerao
Viva la numeración
Quien ha visto matrimonio
Sin correr amonestación
Chevere, chevere
Chevere, chevere
Chevere, chevere
Chevere, chevere
Chevere, chevere
Chevere, chevere
Pavo real uu
A todo negro presente
Yo lo voy a aconsejar
Yo le voy a aconsejar
Que combine los colores
Que la raza es natural
Que la raza es natural
Que un negro con una negra
Es como noche sin luna
Es como noche sin luna
Y un blanco con una blanca
Es como leche y espuma
Es como leche y espuma
Todo negro pelo recio
Con rubia se ha de casar
Con rubia se he de casar
Para que vengan los hijos
Con algo mas del pavo real
Para que vengan los hijos
Con algo mas del pavo real
Chevere, chevere
3.- "You to me are everything" - The Real Thing
You to me are everything
I would take the stars
Out of the sky for you
Stop the rain from falling
If you asked me to
I'd do anything for you
Your wish is my command
I could move a mountain when
Your hand is in my hand
Words cannot express
How much you mean to me
There must be some other way
To make you see
If it takes my heart and soul
You know I'd pay the price
Everything that I possess
I'd gladly sacrifice
Oh you to me are everything
The sweetest song
That I could sing
Oh baby, oh baby
To you I guess
I'm just a clown
Who picks you up
Each time you're down
Oh baby, oh baby
You give me just
A taste of love to
Build my hopes upon
You know you got
The power boy
To keep me holding on
So now you got
The best of me
Come on and
Take the rest of me
Oh baby
Though you're close to me
We seem so far apart
Maybe given time
You'll have a change of heart
If it takes forever boy then
I'm prepared to wait
The day you give your love to me
Won't be a day too late
Oh you to me are everything
The sweetest song
That I could sing
Oh baby, oh baby
To you I guess
I'm just a clown
Who picks you up
Each time you're down
Oh baby, oh baby
You give me just
A taste of love to
Build my hopes upon
You know you got
The power boy
To keep me holding on
So now you got
The best of me
Come on and
Take the rest of me
Oh baby
Recojo mis cosas, nena, vuelvo a mi hogar
Nuestros corazones laten a la vez
Quién soy yo sin ti
Quién eres tu, quién
El ritmo de la noche viste mi canción
Mejor cojo mis cosas, nena, mejor me voy
5.- "Dignity" - Deacon Blue
Dignity
There's a man I meet, walks up our street
He's a worker for the council
Has been twenty years
And he takes no lip off nobody
And litter off the gutter
Puts it in a bag
And never thinks to mutter
And he packs his lunch in a Sunblest bag
The children call him Bogie
He never lets on
But I know 'cause he once told me
He let me know a secret about the money in his kitty
He's gonna buy a dinghy
Gonna call her Dignity
And I'll sail her up the west coast
Through villages and towns
I'll be on my holidays
They'll be doing their rounds
They'll ask me how I got her I'll say, "I saved my money"
They'll say, "Isn't she pretty? That ship called Dignity"
And I'm telling this story
In a faraway sea
Sipping down raki
And reading Maynard Keynes
And I'm thinking about home and all that that means
And a place in the winter for dignity
And I'll sail her up the west coast
Through villages and towns
I'll be on my holidays
They'll be doing the rounds
They'll ask me how I got her I'll say, "I saved my money"
They'll say, "Isn't she pretty? That ship called Dignity"
Stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up
Yeah, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again
Stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up
Yeah, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again
And I'm thinking about home
And I'm thinking about faith
And I'm thinking about work
And I'm thinking how good it would be
To be here some day
On a ship called Dignity
A ship called Dignity
That ship
